This Blank Canvas, Escaroth Pinot Noir Marlborough has a pale-ish bricky colour. It has good intensity, a chicory note and blood orange on the nose. On the palate it has a core of sweet summer fruit, with some good raspberry pippy-ness, and nice grip on the end and a savoury bunchy finish. Despite having just 12.5% abv, it has lovely weight and a good mouthfeel.
The nose is complex with attractive savoury notes of smoked meats and spice, along with cherry, plum and floral nuances. The rounded palate has flavours of red berry compote and plum with savoury and flinty notes. Well-integrated tannins give the wine a balanced structure.
Smoky aromatics, with flint, bitter lemon citrus, grapefruit and tropical hints. The palate is rich, slightly chewy, with good mouthfeel, texture and harmony. Flavours of yellow citrus, currant, papaya and sweet herbs carry through the finish.
A sweet-scented Pinot Noir from Marlborough, with compote of plums, raspberries and black cherries on the nose which combine with cinnamon and clove spice on the palate, all beautifully balanced and complemented by ageing in 30% new French oak barrels.

An aromatic salsa-like fusion of ripe summer fruit; nectarines accompanied with yellow peaches, rock melon, grapefruit and a splash of passionfruit, mingle with ginger, lemongrass, jasmine and cassis. A deliciously ripe and zesty Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc finishing with a mouth-watering minerality and Asian spice mix. Simply brilliant!
